To be honest- the faith never needed defending.

The truth always spoke for itself, but never really defended itself. It didn’t need too.

Jesus was the truth, embodied.

He gently taught any who would listen, and gave many lessons no one understood.

He wasn’t stopping people in the street and choosing to argue against their practices or religions; He responded to those who did so towards him with truth.

He strongly spoke and acted against injustice, but never “defended” what he taught or said, because it wasn’t necessary. He wasn’t afraid of questions; he welcomed them. Questions didn’t change the truth, just opened the door for more lessons.

While knowing what you believe is good and important, “Defending your faith” isn’t what sets people free.

Jesus is.
